historic low incomes

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Anaconda has always trailed the nation as far as economic viability. EVen when the smelter was running full tilt in the 60’s the average household income was 62% of nation levels. It is about 63% today. So often we have experienced a history of educating the “best and brightest” and then they leave the community. We need to rain people for the jobs than can and are being created here and then hoping thos people will stay around and help build the higher paying jobs.

All your choices are important and I hope all can be implemented in Anaconda. Thanks BJ
